Hockessin Chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Meier

Providing chiropractic care for the community and families of Hockessin

Dr. Bradley Meier

Dr. Bradley Meier joined First State Health and Wellness in September 2004, after relocating from Chicago, IL where he practiced in a successful, multidisciplinary practice as a primary care physician. Currently, he is at the Lantana Square location in Hockessin.

Chiropractic Education

Dr. Meier received his doctorate from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL, and interned at the Chicago General Health Services in Chicago, IL. Dr. Meier holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and in Business, from the National University, and the Florida State University, respectively.

He has treated patients with sciatica, headaches, seizures, herniated disc, whiplash, sports related injuries (ie: shin splints, rotator cuff, knee complaints), sinus conditions, and of course, neck, mid-back, and lower back pain. He cares a lot about his patients. He knows what it is like to be a patient after being involved in a motor vehicle accident, which introduced him to the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment.

Relief and Wellness Care

Dr. Meier’s goals are to first help decrease the symptoms of the ailment so the patient is able to perform their activities of daily living, secondly he prescribes corrective care to help strengthen and increase joint function to help prevent re-occurrences.

Dr. Meier Asks some important questions of interest to Hockessin residents - Chiropractor Hockessin Dr. Meier Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
